How does it work?

What counters are available?

You can show a variety of statistics on your site. Many options are available for displaying data like these demo stats.

You can display as many different statistics as you like. The counter is configurable to display in plain text to match your page style or as an image in any text color and any colored or transparent background to blend with your site. Choose from 39 fonts.

Why no hit counter?

Hits are defined as a file delivered by the server to a browser or bot. This includes images. One page could have dozens of hits because of multiple images on the page. A page impression is a more accurate representation of traffic because it represents one rendering of your page content regardless of image count or included videos.

Similarly, visitors are more accurate to count than hits because it you are likely to get only one transaction per visitor regardless of hits or page impressions.

Do I have to display a counter or image?

No. You can choose to have the tracking script entirely invisible. Your visitors will be unaware that information is being collected.
